A Journey to Remember Begins
Every year, we at StorePress try to take a small break from our everyday digital world – the codes, campaigns, meetings, and analytics – and step into nature’s embrace.
This year, that escape took us to two of Bangladesh’s most beautiful destinations – Bandarban and Cox’s Bazar.

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”
– Saint Augustine
It wasn’t just a vacation.
It was an experience of joy, bonding, discovery, and countless unforgettable memories.
Our tour started on the night of October 31, 2025, and ended on November 7, 2025.
Seven days of mountains, rivers, clouds, and sea.
Seven days of laughter, peace, and togetherness.
The Journey Begins – From Dhaka to Chattogram
The excitement began at Biman Bandar Railway Station in Dhaka.
Bags were packed, playlists were ready, and smiles were everywhere.
We boarded the night train to Chattogram, the first step toward our adventure.

The rhythmic sound of the moving train felt almost musical.
Some of us talked endlessly, some played games, and others just watched the outside from the window.
When the morning light touched the sky, we had already reached Chattogram – around 6:00 AM.
The city was just waking up, but our energy was already sky-high.
From there, we headed straight to Bandarban City by Micro-bus. The road began to twist and turn, green hills started to rise on both sides, and the air slowly became cooler.
We had officially left behind the noise of the city and entered the calm of nature.
Heading to Nilgiri – Touching the Clouds
At Bandarban City, we reserved a Chander Gari, those famous open jeeps known for their thrilling rides on mountain roads.
The ride to Nilgiri Resort was a full adventure in itself.

As the jeep climbed higher and higher, clouds began to wrap around us like soft white blankets.
We could almost touch them.

When we finally reached Nilgiri Resort, everyone fell silent for a moment – not because we were tired, but because the view took our breath away.

The vast green hills stretched as far as the eyes could see.
The sky seemed endless.
The air smelled fresh – untouched, pure, alive.

We spent two days at Nilgiri, surrounded by misty mountains and clouds that visited us every few hours.
Some of us just sat quietly with a cup of coffee, watching the fog drift past.
Others took endless photos, trying to capture what words could never describe.
“In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks.”
– John Muir
At night, the stars came out like diamonds scattered on a black canvas.
We shared stories, jokes, and songs under the open sky – forgetting for a while that we were coworkers, remembering instead that we were friends.

Nilgiri taught us silence.
It taught us how beautiful the world can be when we pause and just breathe.
Moving to Thanchi – Where the Hills Meet the River
On November 3, 2025, we said goodbye to Nilgiri and started for Thanchi, our next destination.
It was another long ride through winding mountain roads, but the views along the way were so beautiful that we hardly noticed the time.
We reached Shimanto Obokash Resort by afternoon.
The resort stood proudly beside the Shangu River, surrounded by hills that touched the clouds.

The moment we arrived, none of us wanted to stay indoors.
We dropped our bags, grabbed our cameras, and headed straight to Toma Tungi, just near the resort.

From the top of Toma Tungi, the view was unbelievable.
The Kewkradong Hill, one of Bangladesh’s highest peaks, stood tall in the distance.
The snaky mountain roads looked like silver threads through the green.

Standing there, we felt so small compared to the endless beauty around us.
It was humbling – a reminder that nature doesn’t need to try to impress us; it simply exists in perfection.

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
– Albert Einstein
Exploring Remakri – The Land of Stones and Rivers
The next morning, the real adventure began.
We started early to explore Remakri, one of Bandarban’s most stunning natural wonders.

Our boat moved slowly through the Shangu River – calm water, green hills on both sides, and the morning mist floating just above the surface.
It felt like sailing through a dream.

At Raja Pathor and Rani Pathor, we stood amazed by the giant stones that had once fallen from the mighty hills into the river.

Each stone had its own story written by time and nature.
Then came the highlight – our trek through the forest to find two hidden gems: Langlok Fountain and Chingri Fountain.

The path was wild and wet. We crossed small streams, climbed slippery rocks, and laughed every time someone’s shoes got stuck in the mud.

But when we finally reached the waterfalls – everything stopped.
The sound of water hitting the rocks, the cool mist in the air, and the green all around made it feel like we had found a piece of paradise.
We stood there in silence, letting the moment sink in.

No photo could ever capture that feeling.
“Take only memories, leave only footprints.”
– Chief Seattle
That day will forever stay in our hearts as one of the purest experiences of our lives.
Dim Pahar & Alikodom – Tea with the Clouds
On November 5, 2025, it was time to leave the hills behind – but not without one last adventure.
Our route to Cox’s Bazar took us through Dim Pahar and Alikodom, two magical spots that look like they came straight out of a dream.

As we climbed up the high road of Dim Pahar, something amazing happened – clouds surrounded us completely.
It was as if the sky had come down to meet us.
We stopped the jeep, stepped out, and just stood there – inside the clouds.

The air was cold, and tiny droplets of mist touched our faces.
At the top of Dim Pahar, we discovered a small tea stall and sipped our tea while the foggy cloud wrapped around us like a soft blanket.

It was such a simple moment, but it felt priceless.
We laughed, took photos, and watched as the clouds moved gently past us – carrying our laughter away.

“Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the whole earth revolves.”
– Thich Nhat Hanh
That stop at Dim Pahar wasn’t planned.
It just happened.
But sometimes, the unplanned moments become the best part of the story.
Cox’s Bazar – The Sea Welcomes Us
By the afternoon, around 3 PM, we finally reached Cox’s Bazar, our last destination.
We checked into Best Western Heritage Hotel, located near Dolphin Mor – just minutes away from the beach.
After days in the hills, the first sight of the sea was overwhelming.
The endless waves, the open sky, and the sound of water crashing against the shore – it felt like the earth was breathing around us.

If Bandarban was calm and spiritual, Cox’s Bazar was loud and full of life.
The sea greeted us with roaring waves, as if saying, “Welcome, travelers.”
That evening, we all walked down to the beach.
The sand was soft, the air salty, and the sunset painted everything golden.
“To me, the sea is a continual miracle.”
— Walt Whitman
We stood side by side, watching the sun disappear into the water.
It was the perfect ending to the mountain part of our journey – a balance between stillness and motion.
Exploring the Local Life
The next two days were full of fun and relaxation.
We explored the local markets, especially the famous Burmese Market, where we bought souvenirs, handmade crafts, and gifts for our friends and families.

We also enjoyed delicious seafood and local fruits that Cox’s Bazar is famous for.
Laughter filled the air wherever the StorePress team went.
At night, we gathered for dinner by the sea – music, smiles, and stories flowing freely.
Every single person shared their favorite moment from the trip.
Some said it was the clouds at Nilgiri, some the waterfalls of Thanchi, and others – the sunset at the beach.
Each answer was different, but the emotion was the same – gratitude.
Returning Home – With Hearts Full of Memories
On the morning of November 7, 2025, the time came to say goodbye to the sea and head back to Dhaka.
We packed our bags, took one last walk on the beach, and promised ourselves that we’d come back again someday.

At the airport, as the plane took off, we looked down and saw the blue ocean fading beneath us – and smiled.
It wasn’t just a tour anymore.
It had become a story we’d tell again and again.
What This Journey Meant to StorePress
At StorePress, we believe that great teams are not built only in offices.
They are built on shared experiences – like climbing hills together, laughing in the rain, or watching sunsets in silence.
This tour wasn’t just a break from work.
It was a reminder of why we work together in the first place.
Because behind every product we build, behind every plugin we launch, there’s a team that truly cares for each other.

We came back refreshed, recharged, and inspired.
Inspired to keep building, to keep growing, and to keep spreading the same energy we felt in those hills and waves – into everything we do.
